< Back to Full Team Uconda Dunn is an economic development professional with more than 15 years of experience at state and regional levels. As the vice president of business development with the Greenville ENC Alliance, she leads business recruitment and expansion efforts in Greenville-Pitt County. In her role, she works to attract new industry with well-paying jobs while also retaining existing companies and assisting them with growth plans. Throughout her career, Uconda has worked with several organizations in North Carolina and Virginia including the Central Virginia Partnership, the North Carolina Department of Commerce, and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina. She is the North Carolina Director for the Southern Economic Development Council’s Board of Directors and serves on the North Carolina Economic Development Association's Equity, Inclusion, and Belong Committee. She is also an active member of the International Economic Development Council and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. The Tarboro native holds a Master’s in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Uconda and her husband, Mark, have two sons, Landon and Nolan. They enjoy Carolina football, relaxing on the North Carolina coast, and traveling.
