Josh Lewis

Josh Lewis is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with more than 13 years of experience in economic, business, and workforce development. He has worked with local and regional organizations in North Carolina and Virginia, most recently serving as the executive director of the Mount Rogers Regional Partnership. He has previously held leadership and development roles with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, United Way, and Goodwill Industries. During his career, Josh has helped to create more than 5,000 jobs and $1 billion in capital investment. Josh obtained an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Greensboro and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, he holds a certificate in business strategy from the University of Virginia – Darden School and earned the CEcD designation from the International Economic Development Council. Outside of work, Josh enjoys history, outdoor activities, sports, and traveling. He and his wife, Amanda, have a daughter, Millie, and two dogs. They look forward to being part of the Pitt County community and exploring all that eastern North Carolina has to offer.
