The Greenville Eastern North Carolina (ENC) Alliance is excited to announce that Julia Davis will begin a new role as the organization’s talent engagement manager, effective July 1, 2025. Davis, who has served as the marketing and investor relations coordinator since January 2024, has been an integral part of the creation and growth of the Greenville ENC Alliance’s talent marketing initiatives and Grow in Greenville sub-brand.

“Since Julia joined our team, she has furthered our goals to promote talent recruitment and retention through innovative marketing campaigns, social media promotions, direct outreach and networking, and creative event planning,” shared Josh Lewis, president and CEO of the Greenville ENC Alliance. “Her focus within the talent space is something that our investors and stakeholders are excited about, and her work is already making an impact in the attraction and retention of skilled workers and professionals in our community.”

Over the past 18 months, Davis has assisted with developing Grow in Greenville, which promotes Greenville-Pitt County as a premier destination for career growth where affordability meets opportunity. As part of this, Davis has taken the lead in planning networking events for young professionals within our local industry sectors and finding unique ways to engage with new residents who moved to the area for their careers.

“The concept of Grow in Greenville would not have been possible without Julia’s creativity and passion for talent marketing,” explained Maria Satira, director of marketing and communications. “She took a few loose ideas from our marketing plan to target our ideal talent audiences and successfully created impressive, fun, and engaging outreach initiatives. Moving her to this talent-focused position will allow our team to further efforts in the talent attraction and retention arena and help our local industries fill open roles with skilled employees looking to grow their careers in Greenville-Pitt County.”

In her new role, Davis will manage the Grow in Greenville website and social media channels, coordinate events for young professionals and newcomers to the community, engage with students at Pitt County Schools, Pitt Community College, and East Carolina University, and coordinate outreach campaigns for talent attraction audiences.

“Greenville-Pitt County has so much to offer, and I’m excited to help others see the potential this community holds for both personal and professional growth,” said Davis. “I’m honored to step into this new role and continue building meaningful connections between people and opportunities. Supporting others in advancing their careers in a community I truly believe in is both a privilege and a passion.”

Passionate about career development and talent engagement, Davis is actively involved in many organizations and initiatives throughout the community. She is the professional development chair for the Young Professionals of Pitt County’s steering committee and serves on planning committees for the “Better Skills, Better Jobs” career fair in partnership with Pitt Community College and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce’s Grow Local program. She is also a member of the marketing committee for the Downtown Greenville Partnership.
