The Greenville Eastern North Carolina (ENC) Alliance begins the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year with a strong, engaged board of directors and executive leadership. Board members and executive committee members were approved during the May 22 board meeting. Aaron Driver, president of professional risk management firm IIC Carolinas, was elected to chair the board of directors after serving two terms as vice chair.

“It is an honor and a privilege to assume the chair position for the Greenville ENC Alliance, especially when we have so much momentum. This organization is gaining widespread attention, and we will capitalize on it. Our investor engagement is special, rivaling economic development organizations nationwide. Our legacy leadership has built an economic engine to fuel Pitt County’s growth for years to come. The train is moving fast – All Aboard,” said Driver.

The Greenville ENC Alliance welcomes five new and two second-term private sector board members. Will Roebuck of Roebuck Staffing Company will fill a three-year term, and Tom Morse of Transworld Business Advisors will fill a one-year term at the Bronze Level. Brian Fagundus of ARK Consulting will fill a three-year term at the Silver Level. Tyler Fortner of 264 Shoes and Apparel will fill a three-year term at the Gold Level, and Andrew Denton of The Overton Group will fill a three-year term at the Platinum Level. Michael Gregory of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling (Platinum Level) and Mallory Pickett of Blount Family Companies (Gold Level) were re-elected to their private sector board member seats. Pickett will serve an additional one-year term, while Gregory will serve an additional two-year term.

“As always, I am deeply appreciative of our investors and community leaders’ eagerness and passion to volunteer their time to serve on our board and committees that drive our operations and programs. Due to the time invested by so many, our organization has been able to help the community achieve success and raise the bar for what we all aspire to be,” said Josh Lewis, CEcD, president and CEO of the Greenville ENC Alliance.

For the public sector, the Village of Simpson and the Town of Grimesland will retain their municipal board voting seats. These seats are represented by Mayor Rich Zeck and Brian Cooke, respectively.

“The collaboration between our private investors, municipalities, and partners strengthens our ability to achieve our goals,” added Lewis. “The growth we’ve seen this past year is a true testament to what we can accomplish together, and we are committed to continuing that success in the year ahead.”

In addition to Driver as chair, board officers elected to serve include Mallory Pickett of Blount Family Companies as vice chair, Michael Gregory of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling as treasurer, and Thomas Taft, Jr. of Taft Family Ventures as secretary. Former board chair Drake Brinkley of Ward and Smith, P.A., will serve as immediate past chair and continue serving on the organization’s board of directors and executive committee.

"This is a pivotal time for the Greenville ENC Alliance, and I am excited to lead this talented group of individuals as we continue to move forward,” added Driver. “Together, we will continue to build on the momentum created and drive significant growth for Greenville-Pitt County. We have a clear vision, a dedicated team, and a wonderful community behind us. The best is yet to come.”
